Kanda Catholic Church

Kanda catholic church is located at nishi-kanda.
You can go to the church from suido-bashi station in around 7 minute by walking.
This church is dedicated to St. Francis Xavier who was the missionary who visited Japan first.

Hi, Nice shot, it indeed doesn't look Japanese to me but I like culture migles. Happened to bumb into a chinese? temple lately, in a town close by, that was an surprise.

The architecture does not look like the one of a catholic church as we know them here. I did not know that François -Xavier was the first missionnary to come to Japan.
The statues seem to be the Virgin Mary? Very interesting post!
