Kiyomizu-Kannondo with Cherry Blossom

kiyomizu-kannondo
Kiyomizu-Kannondo is a hall which is located in ueno park.
I took these photos last Saturday.
Cherry blossoms in the park were almost in full bloom.

If you visit there, you should go up to the stage of the hall.
I like view from the stage.

I've seen the Cherry Blossoms in D.C., they are incredible. Yours must be even nicer.

The hall is beautiful, especially with the cherry blossoms.

This is the first time I've seen a weeping sakura tree. Very interesting and pretty too. It doesn't seem to have as many blossoms though, probably an illusion because of the shape of the branches.

I recently looked at an old Hiroshige woodblock print from 1856. The commentary said that the width of the veranda and the height of the pines were exaggerated. It is such a pleasure to see the real thing in your photos.
