Shibamata Station
This is a station of Keisei electric railway.
Shibamata is a old temple town located in katsushika ward.
Photo above is a view in front of the station.
I start new series from today.
Please enjoy atmosphere of old down town in Tokyo.

Hey Nobu, many thanks for your beautiful pictures!
I'm always surprise with so lovely city, yours city !
I'm a little bit curious too...for instance in this kind of Station for tourists : Can we by tickets speaking English with the worker man ( teller )?Is it easy ?or fell people there can be able to speak English...
Kind Regards
Léia
Hello Leia.
Thanks for your comment.
We usually buy tickets with vending machine.
If you want to know how to use it you can ask station workers.
We japanese are not good at speaking English.
But those station workers are very kind to passengers.
Don't worry.
Very interesting. I would enjoy spending a few hours in that area.
What is unusual compared to your other pictures is the fact that the houses are much smaller. There are not great buildings; So, it's "more human"!
This looks like a low rise, more intimate part of town.
