Swa-no-chaya and Azalea

Yesterday, I visited Higashi Gyoen ( The Eest Gardens of Imperial Palace ) again to take photos of azalea (Tsutsuji).

Do you remember this wooden building?
I have already introduced you it as "Suwa-no-Chaya and Ume Blossoms" in this year.

Higashi-gyoen has different beauty in each season.

The colours red and white - like the Japanese flag.
Intention or accidental circumstance of the horticulturist?

I love the simplicity of the architecture — it lets nature take center stage. Beautiful.
