I visited Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of Imperial Palace) to view Hanashobu (Japanese iris) today.
84 varieties iris grow by Ninomaru pond.
That iris field is not so large, but those iriese are maintained carfuly.

You, Japanese people, have really a great talent to magnify what is already beautyful!I had never seen so much irises growing like in bouquets, with so much different and lovely colors!

I hope you are doing well! But when having a look to your great photos of the Japanese Iris flowers, I feel that your are surrounded with harmony - at least in the Higashi Gyoen - the East Garden. The wonderful park and respite in the middle of the city that never sleeps.
