Hydrangea and Stone Guardian Dog

I took this photo in Hakusan Jinja ( Hakusan Shrine ).
Hakusan Jinja is a shinto shrine located in bunkyo ward.
This shrine is a well known hydrangea viewing spot in Tokyo.

Haha, on my recent post of Istanbul I have a photo of a Turkish guarian dog. But although its out of flesh and blood it doesn't look half vigilant like yours out of stone...

花鳥風月... oh my, one of the beauties of nature. Fresh or dried, in vase or garden, I love hydrangeas. ココは素晴らしい、のぶさん ! I have a post about it, because inspired very much from a hydrangea blooming in my balcony. Ist'l is like a heaven nowadays with so often flowering hyd's everywhere that eye can see.
