Hanashobu in Koishikawa Korakuen
Koishikawa Korakuen is a Japanese style garden located in Bunkyo ward.
Hanashobu (Japanese iris) is one of my favorite early summer blooming flower.
And I like the rural landscape about the iris field.
You might not be able to believe that it is in the center of Tokyo.

One day I must visit Tokyo. It has always attracted me, and your blog makes it worse! I like the country dream in th heart of the city! :)
Those are amazing! I've never seen so many irises in one place.
I like the sweet and soft mix of white and purple colors among the green. It's so refreshing.. And yes, hard to believe you're in the center of the city!
Beautiful pictures!
Love these pictures!
Ive always wanted to see the irises but have never been able to visit Japan when iris are blooming yet. Those are beautiful.
They look so gorgeous!
I love Koishikawa Korakuen. I've been there twice. Very nice garden.
What an amazing place, and delightful photos. Do these irises grow wild or are they planted to look wild? Thanks for this photo.
