Iris Japonica

Iris Japonica
Iris Japonica in ninomaru garden
We call this flower "Shaga".
It blooms in spring.
I took these photos in Ninomaru garden of Higashi Gyoen ( The East Gardens of Imperial Palace ).

Obviously we have the same hobby and passion, Nobu-san. While you took pictures of Iris japonica, I at the same time captured some images of Adonis vernalis spring flowers.

Iris flowers we have as well at Central Europe, but Iris japonica???

I love the colour of the Blossom in the first photo, there's a slight hint of periwinkle & lavender in the white of it! :)
