Hakucho-bori
Hakucho-bori is a inner moat of the former Edo-castle.
Hakucho means swan.
I took this photo from the observation in Higashi gyoen (The East Gardens of Imperial Palace).

Kinmei-Moso-Chiku
I introduce you rare bamboo again.
I took these photos in Higashi Gyoen.
I like that beautiful stripe pattern of the bamboo.

Kikko-chiku ( Tortoise Shell Bamboo)
You can see many plants in Higashi Gyoen ( The Eeat Gardens of Imperial Palace).
"Kikko (亀甲)" means tortoise shell.
The name of this species of bamboo come from the form of culm.

The Stone Base of Edo Castle's Main Tower
I took these photos in Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of Imperial Palace).
There once was a five storied main tower of Edo castle on the base.
It was burnt down by great fire in 1657.
