Ninomaru Pond in Early Summer
This pond is located in Ninomaru garden of Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of Imperial Palace).
On that day I visited there, satsuki azalea bloom around the pond.
And little yellow flowers bloom on the water of the pond.
In the photo above, you can see hanashobu iris field over the pond.

Konnichi-wa Nobu-san,
I like the ponds wit water lilies and lotus blossoms very much. But for the lotus we have to wait another two months?
Regards, enjoy your weekend,
Uwe.
Everything is so beautiful! Thank you for sharing the lovely Imperial Gardens with us, Nobu.
The water is pure, offering to the flowers a perfect reflection for their ephemeral beauty..
Very nice japanese style garden. Unfortunately there is not irises in Istanbul gardens.
This place is breathtaking and heavenly...
Beatiful pictures. Great shots!
I'm a brazilian photographer and now I'm following your blog.
Regards
Roberto
