
This gigantic model is displayed outside of The National Museum of Nature and Science that is located in the east part of Ueno Park.
It is a model of female blue whale.
After breathing deeply, she is about to dive into the undersea.

I can't decide whether it looks big or small :-)
I can't help but think it looks small! I wonder why...
I wonder if the whales in HEP 5 in Osaka are to scale... o.O
When we were there last summer, I took a photo of this whale! I couldn't help it!!! So I know how big it is:)
A good way to show to visitors how big and impressive, and beautyful, a whale can be!
