Izakaya under the Rail Road Overpass

Izakaya means Japanese pub.
I took these photos near kanda station in afternoon.
When I went to there, they were busy for opening.

Hibiya Patio is an event place in hibiya district.
It is close to hibiya subway station.

Site of Hibiya-mitsuke

I took this photo in hibiya park.
That stone wall was a part of a gate of Edo castle.
Hibiya-mitsuke was a place for watching approach of enemy.

Statue in the Park

This statue stands in hibiya park.
Hibiya park is a western-style park located in heart of Tokyo.
I don't know about the statue well, but I like the statue in trees and lovely flowers.

Summer has gone

I took these photos on gyoko-dori (gyoko street) today.
Leaves of those ginkgo trees are still green.
But I found a yellow leaf under the tree.
And you can see some ginkgo nuts (very small) in the second photo.
Time is running so fast.
Summer has gone.
When leaves of ginkgo turn to yellow, I will visit there again.

Big Tuna on the Sign

This is a sign of a sushi shop.

I took this photo on shin-ohashi-dori (street) at tsukiji.
There is a big fish market in tsukiji.

Kachidoki-bashi

Kachidoki-bashi (Kachidoki bridge) is a bridge across sumida-gawa (sumida river).
The bridge was built 1940 as moveable bridge (double leaf bascule bridge).
But the bridge has never raised leaves since 1970.

Tachiaoi on the Street

Tachiaoi(hollyhock) is a my favorite flower in summer.
I took this photo on harumi-dori(street) at kachidoki.
Kachidoki is a town located by mouth of sumida-river.
