Kibi-dango shop at Nakamise
Kibi-dango is a Japanese dumpling made from millet flour and mochi rice flour.
Usually it is coated with kinako (soy been flour).
I took these photos on Nakamise (street) in asakusa.
You can buy freshly made Kibi-dango at the shop.

Omikuji (Written Fortune)
I took these photos at Senso-ji temple in asakusa.
Omikuji is a piece of small paper telling one's fortune.
You can see a girl smiling in the photo above.
I think she drew great blessing.
Those papers on bar are Omikuji which had been read.

Under Renovation
Main hall of senso-ji temple is under construction to repair now.
But picture of dragon on those construction sheets might encourage visitors....

Five Storied Pagoda in Senso-ji Temple
This five storied pagoda is 53 meter hight.
It was rebuilt in 1973.

Hozo Mon ( Gate )
Hozo-mon is the inner maine gate of Senso-ji temple in asakusa.
Two wooden statues of Nio stand each side of the gate, and three lanterns are hanged in the center of the gate.
Hozo-mon (宝蔵門) literaly means treasure house gate.
Senso-ji's treasures are kept in upper part of the gate.

Asakusa Nakamise
I think you remember this street, If you have visited Senso-ji temple in asakusa.
Asakusa Nakamise is a shopping street that lies between Kaminari-mon (gate) to Hozo-mon(gate).
Many souvenir shops stand both side of the street.

Kaminari Mon ( Gate )
Kaminari-mon is one of symbolic building of Tokyo.
Kaminari-mon literaly means "thunder gate".
This gate is the outer main gate of Senso-ji temple in asakusa.

Bamboo Shoot in Higashi Gyoen
Higashi Gyoen ( The East Gardens of Imperial Palace ) is located in center of Tokyo.
But, every time I visit there, I realize it has rich nature.

Yamabuki in Ninomaru Garden
When I strolled around the pond that is located on Ninomaru Garden of Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of Imperial Palace), I found Yamabuki (Kerria japonica) blooming by the pond.

Yamatsutsuji in Ninomaru Grove
I took these photos in Ninomaru grove of Higashi Gyoen ( The East Gardens of Imperial Palace ).
Yamatsutsuji is a kind of azalea.
I like the contrast pink colour of the flower and fresh green colour of those young leaves in the grove.
