Suiko-no-e


This is a part of Rikugien garden. It is named "Suiko-no-e".
Long ago, there used to be a water flow at the place.
During the autumn illumination evening event in the garden, they reproduce the scene by led-light and mist spraying.

Autumn Leaves in Rikugien



Rikugien is a traditional Japanese garden located in Bunkyo-ward.
It is near to Komagome station.
Last Wednesday, I visited the garden to viewing autumn leaves.

In this season, ginkgo leaves have fresh green color.

Rooftop Garden in Kanda Myojin  




This garden is above a parking of the Kanda Myojin (Kanda shrine).
It is small, but we can enjoy viewing flowers in every season.
This garden was created last year as a greening project of the shrine.

Ninomaru Garden



Ninomaru garden is one of my favorite place in Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace).
Every time I visit there, I can find different beauty.
Those white small flowers are Shaga (Iris Japonica).

Weepimg Cherry Trees in Koishikawa Korakuen


I took these photos in Koishikawa Korakuen last wednesday.
Seven weeping cherry trees and many yoshino cherry trees are planted in the garden.
Especialy weeping cherry tree in the photo above is most gorgeous.
It is the symbolic cherry tree in the garden.


Other weeping cherry trees are also nice in the beautiful background.

Shinjuku Gyoen in Early Spring


Shinjuku Gyoen is a large garden located in Shinjuku and Shibuya.
I visited there last friday.
It was still cold on that day, but I could enjoy spring colours.



Photo above is early blooming cherry.
It wasn't in full bloom yet, but beautiful enough to enjoy viewing.

Before the Festival

Ume blossoms has started blooming in Tokyo.
Today, I visited Yushima Tenjin that is a Shinto shrine located in Yushima, Bunkyo ward.


Ume festival of the shrine starts from tommorow.

Autumn Colours in Yasukuni Shrine




Yasukuni Shrine is a Shinto shrine located at Kudankita, Chiyoda ward.
You can see beautiful autumn leaves at the shrine.
Especially, I like yellow leaves of ginkgo trees in the shrine.

Chidorigafuchi is a very popular cherry blossom viewing spot.
That walking road along the moat is so crowded in the season.
But I also like stroll there in late autumn.

Especialy red leaves of Japanese maple in the garden are so beautiful.

Koishikawa Korakuen in Late Autumn


Koishikawa korakuen is a Japanese style garden located in Bunkyo ward, Tokyo.
This Daimyo (feudal lord) garden was built in early Edo era.
It is in the center of Tokyo, but you can enjoy a peaceful time and beautiful scene in the garden.
Today I show you the garden in late autumn.










I will show you some more photos of the garden later.
