I am infront of the main entrance to yushima seido.
Yushima (湯島) is a town name.
Seido (聖堂) literally means "holy hall".
I will tell you details later.
Well, enter the place.
There is a gate called gyokomon.
I have just passed through gyokomon gate, and walk on the pass way.
It is a calm place.
Please remember it takes only around 10 minutes here from akihabara station by walking.
To be continued.

Yes, this looks like a totally different kind of place from the busy streets you were on recently. Looks like an oasis of peace in the middle of the city. Look forward to more from here.
You are a little north-east of the railway station of Ochanomizu. And this place is a confucian Temple build in the Genroku area of the Edo period..To get there from Akihabara, you could cross Sotokanda.
(???)
Even if I am wrong, the important thing is that this place (I mean, the one of your pictures)is really wonderful, full of history and charm. It must be great to go there for a walk.I must admit that I prefer this than the electric town..
Very deceiving from the street — didn't look like it would be a big area, but it seems that it is. The gate is beautiful and I am looking forward to the rest of your photos of this shrine.
