The Garden in Winter
I took these photos in the garden of the National Museum of Western Art that is located in ueno park.
I have already introduced you the garden in last autumn.
But you may have different impression to the thinker in winter.
(note) I took this photo on February 10 , 2009.

It is great to be able to combine a stroll in the park with looking at art. Ueno park seems like a great place with all the things you have been showing.
Am I wrong, or these two statues are from Rodin? it's a french artist; I don't think this are the real ones, but it's strange to see french art in Japan...
Thanks for your comments.
Malyss; Bronze sculpture is a casting work.
The Thinker in ueno is one of the orginal edition.
It must be wonderful to visit the park at different seasons — the meaning and mood of everything would be different too.
Art in a park is perfect.
