I took these photos on chuo-dori(street) at ginza 5 chome.
It was on Saturday, That place was car free in day time.
That atmosphere is different from week day's.

I'm back from holidays.

I'm coming back from a big city, and it seems that everywhere, streets are left back to pedestrians, at least one day a week. The time of the "All-for-the-cars" is over..Finally, the international crisis has some good consequences?..

Great to see people turning it into a pedestrian street. Take it back from the cars! :-)
More and more cities are going to car-free zones. I've heard NY City is planning something like that with regard to Columbus AVenue.
Great idea.
We have a car-free zone, but obviously in the italian way. Instead of no car we have a few because anyone keep trying to find an exemption.
Nice to see a real one at work.
