Taimei Elementary School
Taimei elementary school is located in ginza, and it faces to miyuki-dori (street).
In the first photo, you can see yurakucho marion over the school building.

Kumogata-pond in Hibiya Park
I have already introduced you shinji-pond in hibiya park.
Today, I introduce you another pond in the park.
This pond is called "kumogata ike".
"Kumogata " means figure of cloud.
You can see lovely fountain in the pon.

Heron in Hibiya Park
I have already introduced you shinji-pond in hibiya park.
When I went to there last Saturday, a heron stay on the stone in the pond.
You can also see a tortoise on the stone.
That scenery just looks like some Japanese traditional paintings.

Kameido Tenjin
Kameido tenjin is a shinto shrine that worship Sugawara Michizane.
In nowadays, Sugawara Michizane is worshiped as god of study.
This shrine is located in koto ward.
You can go to there from kameido station by walking.

Ginza Yanagi Matsuri
The 4 th Ginza Yanagi Matsuri ( ginza willow festival ) was held on May 5.
May 5 is a national holiday in Japan as "children's day.
I took this photo just before the parade started.
By the way, yagagi means willow.

Horse in GInza
I took these photos on sotobori-dori (street) at ginza yesterday.
Ginza is a well known up-market district located in heart of Tokyo.
I have seen horse in ginza at first time.
The young lady on the horse is a police officer of metropolitan police department.

All Alone
Today, I went to hibiya park again.
When I went to there, it drizzled.
I saw no one around me.
When I took a photo in the park, I found something small moving on the lawn.
It was a tortoise.
Maybe she came from a pond in the park.

Shinji-pond in Hibiya Park
This pond is located in hibiya park
Hibiya-park is designed with western style.
But this pond and garden around the pond have traditional Japanese style.
That place was a moat of former edo-castle ever.
You can see stone wall over the pond in these photos.
By the way "shinji (心字) literally means a character (symbol) that indicate "heart".
The shape of the pond looks like figure of a kanji symbol, "心 (kokoro, shin)".
(If you look at the pond from above the pond.)
This idea came from Zen (禅).

Hibiya Park is a large park located in heart of Tokyo.
It was opened in 1903.
This park is next to busy districts such as yurakucho and kasumigaseki.
But you can be in rich green in this park.

Azalea by the Moat
