Chinese Pistache in Yushima Seido
Yushima Seido is a confucious temple established in Edo era.
In late autumn, leaves of chinese pistache trees have beautiful colour.

Uchibori-dori with Autumn Leaves
I took these photos by a entrance of Takebashi subway station.
Uchibori-dori is a circular street around the Imperial Palace.
Uchibori means inner moat.
This street lies along inner moat of former Edo castle.

Ninomaru Grove in Late Autumn
I took these photos at Ninomaru grove in Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of The Imperial Palace).
Higashi Gyoen is located in heart of Tokyo. But It has rich nature.
In late autumn, you can see colourful autumn leaves in the grove.

Tsuwabuki Flower in Ninomaru garden
I took these photos in Ninomaru garden of Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of the Imperial palace).
Those yellow flowers are Tsuwabuki (Farfugium japonicum).
It has lovely petals and beautiful leaves.

Change
I took this photo on gyoko-dori(street) Today.
Gyoko-dori is a street which lies from uchibori-dori (street) at Imperial palace plaza to marunouch side of Tokyo station.
Leaves of those ginkgo trees on the street have already started changing to yellow.
Those leaves will get golden yellow in late autumn.

Festival at Kappabashi
Kappabashi is a neighborhood in Asakusa.
This festival is held on Kappabashi-hon-dori (street).
You can see "Tokyo Sky Tree" in the photo above (around the center of the photo).

Hozuki and Japanese wind chime
I took these photos at Senso-ji temple last Sunday.
It was a day of an annual event of the temple called "Shimanrokusen-nichi".
(Please check my previous post from here )
During the event, hozuki(Chinese lantern plant) fair is held at the temple.
It was very hot when I visited there, but sounds of those wind chimes cooled me.

Senso-ji Temple on July 10
You can see so many people in these photos.
"Shimanrokusen-nichi Festival" is an annual event of the temple.
"Shimanrokusen-nichi" literally means 46000 days.
They say that one visit and worship to the temple on the festival has value same as 46000 visits on ordinary days.
This festival is held on every July 9 and 10.

Rooftop Garden in Kanda Myojin
This garden is above a parking of the Kanda Myojin (Kanda shrine).
It is small, but we can enjoy viewing flowers in every season.
This garden was created last year as a greening project of the shrine.

An Arbor in Koishikawa Korakuen

Hanashobu in Koishikawa Korakuen
Koishikawa Korakuen is a Japanese style garden located in Bunkyo ward.
Hanashobu (Japanese iris) is one of my favorite early summer blooming flower.
And I like the rural landscape about the iris field.
You might not be able to believe that it is in the center of Tokyo.

Wisteria in Kameido Tenjin
Kameido Tenjin is a Shinto Shrine located in Koto ward.
I have already introduced you Ume blossoms in the shrine in this blog.
And the shrine is the most popular westeria viewing spot in Tokyo.
I visited there last wednesday.
If I had visited there around a week before ( or few days before ), I might have shown you more beautiful scene of the shrine with wisteria...

Ninomaru Garden
Ninomaru garden is one of my favorite place in Higashi Gyoen (The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace).
Every time I visit there, I can find different beauty.
Those white small flowers are Shaga (Iris Japonica).

Under Yaezakura Cherry Blossoms
Yoshino cherry (Somei-yoshino) blossoms have already finished in Tokyo.
But Yaezakura cherry blossoms are nice to view now.
I took these photos in Imperial palace plaza today.
And I enjoyed walking under those cherry blossoms.

Weepimg Cherry Trees in Koishikawa Korakuen
I took these photos in Koishikawa Korakuen last wednesday.
Seven weeping cherry trees and many yoshino cherry trees are planted in the garden.
Especialy weeping cherry tree in the photo above is most gorgeous.
It is the symbolic cherry tree in the garden.
Other weeping cherry trees are also nice in the beautiful background.
